Ingredients:


1 cup basmati rice
2 cups water
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp whole cumin seeds
2 bay leaves
1/2 cinnamon stick
2 clovers
1 cardamom been
1 potato cut to cubes
1 carrot cut to cubes
1 cup cauliflower cut to medium pieces
1 cup frozen green pees
1 cup red pepper cut to cubes
1/2 tsp salt

For seasoning:
1 tsp chopped ginger
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp whole cumin seeds
1 tsp salt
Juice from 1/2 lemon

For garnish:
1 cup chopped cilantro
2 chopped tomatoes


Directions:


Feat oil in a pan
Add cumin, bay leaves, clover, cinnamon and cardamom and mix
Add the rice and 1/2 tsp salt and mix for a minute
Add water, bring to boil, lower heat cover for 15 minutes and turn off heat

Seasoning:
In a different pan, heat 3 tbsp oil, add cumin and potato and mix for a minute
Add the carrot and the cauliflower and mix for a couple of minutes
Add pees, red pepper, salt and mix
Cover the pan and steam until vegetables are soft, turn off heat
Add the cooked rice and mix
sprinkle the lemon juice and the cilantro and serve
