Ingredients:


1 cup burgul (course ground wheat)
1 cup lentil
1 chopped onion
5 minced garlic cloves
1 chopped tomato
3 cups of water
Salt
Pepper
Addition:
Yogurt
2 minced garlic cloves
10 chopped mint leaves


Directions:


Soak the lentil overnight
Drain, wash and cook in water (cover 1 inch over top) until soft
Drain and set aside
Fry the onion and the garlic until golden
Add the tomato and the burgul and stir for 3 minutes
Add the lentil, the water, the salt and the pepper and cook for 20 minutes

Served with yogurt mixed with garlic and mint.
