Ingredients:


For 10-12 portions

1 cup cornflower (130 gram)
1 1/4 cups sugar (230 gram)
1 cup water
2 packs of heavy cream (300 ml)
2 cups + 2 tbsp milk
1 tsp rose water

For garnish:
1/2 kg kadayif hair
1/2 kg cherries
2 1/2 cups sugar (300 gram)


Directions:


Garnish:
Heat oven to 390F
Bake the kadayif hair for 10 min and let it cool down
Cook the cherries and the sugar on low heat for 10 min, then cool down

Malabi:
Mix the cornflower, the sugar and the water
Bring the milk and the cream to boil on medium heat while stirring
Add the cornflower and sugar mix gradually and cook for 5 min while stirring until thick
Remove from heat and add the rose water
Cool down while stirring with a whisk to avoid lumps
Cover with clear wrap and store in refrigerator for 3 hours

Serving:
Cover the bottom of a small bowl with some kadayif
Pour malabi on top
Pour 2 tsp of garnish and serve
