Ingredients:


*

4 c. ground almonds
*

3/4 c. superfine sugar
*

2 or 3 drops almond extract
*

2 Tbs. rose water
*

2 eggs, lightly beaten
*

Confectioner's sugar for the tops


Directions:


1.
Most Important: - Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
2.
Mix the almonds and sugar.
3.
Add the extract, rose water and eggs and work to a smooth paste, using your hands.
4.
Roll into walnut-sized balls and place on a parchment or waxed paper-lined baking sheet about 1-1/2 inches apart.
5.
Flatten them slightly and bake for about 25 min or until just golden.
6.
Let cool and dust with confectioner's sugar.

Yield: approximately 30
