3 pouns (1.5kg) leak (white part only)
2 pounds (1kg) pealed potatoes
1pound (1/2kg) onion
100gr (4 Oz) bread crumbs or matza farfel
1 pound ground beef
1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 spoon ground garlic
Oil for deep frying
Chop the leak and boil in water and salt until soft. Squeeze by hand to well drain.
Cook the potatoes and the onions until soft.
Drain and paste the potatoes and the onions.
Add the leak, the eggs, the beef, the bread crumbs, salt, garlic and mix well.
Make patties and fry, if too soft add bread crumbs.
