4 oz soft margarine or butter
½ cup low fat yogurt
½ cup whole yogurt
1 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp baking powder
Flour as needed
Mix the following: egg, margarine, yogurt, vinegar and the baking powder.
Add flour gradually while mixing until very soft dough is achieved.
Create portions of about 2 oz and roll each to a rope.
Fold the rope to create a wide S shape so the width is about twice the height.
Now pinch the sides of the S to create a 3 ropes oval shape and lay them in a greased pan or baking sheet.
Mix an egg yoke with a tsp of oil and brush the pastries.
Bake in 350 deg. F until golden.
