* ½ pound dried apricots
* 1½ cups water
* ¾ to 1 cup sugar
Directions:
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, cook the apricots in the water until the apricots are very soft. Mash or process in a blender or food processor. Add sugar to taste and simmer over low heat until thick, about 10 minutes. Cool before using.
