2 lb lamb or beef cut to strips ½ inch thick
3 grated onions
4 crushed garlic cloves
5 tomatoes
½ cup olive oil
Salt
Black pepper
Directions:
Mix onion, garlic, salt and black pepper and marinade the meat overnight (put everything in cookie bag close and refrigerate)
Thread meat stripe on metal skewers
Thread whole tomatoes on separate skewer
Brush with marinade
Barbeque for about 10 minutes turning over frequently to avoid burning
Serve with rice or in a pita bread
