1 pound ground beef
2 grated and drained onions
1 ½ pound green peas
1 grated tomato
½ cup tomato paste
1 potato cut to cubes
2 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp Cumin
¼ tsp turmeric
Salt
Pepper
Directions:
In a large bowl mix the beef, the onion, salt and pepper
Create golf size balls
Boil 4 cups of water in a pot and drop carefully the balls into the boiling water and cook for 5 minutes
Drain the meat balls but keep the liquids, you will need them later
Put the rest of the ingredients back in the pot together with a cup of the drained liquid and bring to boil
Add the meat balls and cook for half hour
May be served as a main or side dish together with rice
