2 lb course burgul (ground wheat)
1 chopped red pepper
2 peeled and chopped tomatoes
5 chopped green onions
1 cup chopped parsley
½ cup chopped mint
½ cup crushed tomato
½ tsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
5 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp pomegranate syrup
1 cup boiled water
Directions:
Soak the burgul in the boiled water until all water is absorbed.
Add the red pepper, the crushed tomato, the cumin, the black pepper and salt, and mix well.
Add the olive oil and the pomegranate syrup and mix well.
Add the chopped tomatoes, and the chopped greens and mix.
