2 lb garbanzo beans
½ cup flour
2 cups of chopped cilantro
6 chopped garlic cloves
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp salt
Directions:
Soak the garbanzo bean overnight or at least 6 hours
Mix all ingredients except water and grind them with meat grinder or use mixer to coarse grind them
Preheat oil for deep frying
With wet hands create ball 1 inch diameter and drop carefully into the hot oil
Remove when golden and lay on a paper towel
You may add water to the mix if the falafel balls are too dry.
Serve either on a plate or in a pita together with vegetables, tahini sauce
