2 lb carps sliced across to 2 inches thick
1 chopped onion
2 garlic cloves
2 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp turmeric
¼ black pepper
¼ ground cardamom
1 tsp paprika
Chili pepper to taste
1 tsp dry cilantro
½ tsp salt
4 cups water
Directions:
Fry the onion and the garlic in the oil to golden.
Add the fish and the water and bring to boil and lower heat.
Add the rest of the ingredients and cook in low heat for an hour.
